These extraordinary poems arranged in three sections, present the intense and incisive response of a sensitive poet to the moral, political and environmental crises of the times. The poet critiques the undeniable inversion of values in contemporary life with indignation and irony.  The post-truth phase of  history that has almost fully erased demarcation of truth and untruth presents before the poet a panorama of deception, doublespeak, and hollowness. Words have become shells empty of meanings.  The poems in this volume, while being a commentary on present times, are also evocation of timelessness. Poems in the last section are a grateful homage to Mother Earth and her divinity and abundance; a befitting reminder in times of environmental vandalism. .
Written in chiselled verse and crafted with rich imagery and evocative metaphors, these poems radiate an inner power and emotional integrity.
