This book is the third collection of works by the students of the Pardada Pardadi Educational Society. With a vision and mission for a ‘Gender Just Society,’ Pardada Pardadi Educational Society has moved beyond merely offering support and charity by treating its students and their families as its own.
The stories and illustrations in this book are dedications of the students to their school and teachers and depictions of their progress in life. They look towards a bright future with immense hope and confidence, which they attribute to their journey in this school.
Education is the biggest tool for them as they march towards the milestones waiting for them. With their heads held high, the girls of Parada Pardadi will ward off the clouds of despair from their minds in order to brighten the colours of their lives with powerful rays of hope and positivity.
Pardada Pardadi Educational Society (PPES)
Founded in the year 2000, Pardada Pardadi Educational Society (PPES) is a non-profit organization based in Anupshahr, a rural town in the Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh, India. The organization was founded by Mr. Virendra Sam Singh for the socio-economic empowerment of rural girls and women.
With years of consistent efforts, PPES is now working with around 2,500 girls and approximately 10,400 women (Of 10,400, PPES is working directly with 6,000 SHG women and 4,400 are working with the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) program of government) in 120 villages around Anupshahr town in Western Uttar Pradesh.

PPES Mission– To facilitate the creation of a socially & economically empowered model for rural development.
The organisation’s objective is the social upliftment and economic empowerment of the girls and women in this region. Our interventions are in the fields of
- Education- Formal School, Education Transformation Program & Higher Education
- Health & Hygiene- Preventive & Holistic Healthcare
- Women Empowerment- Livelihood generation, income enhancement & capacity building of rural women.
- Economic Empowerment- Skill-building & employment generation
With the aim of ensuring financial independence for these girls and women, PPES also ensures that they are equal and contributing members of their families and communities and break the cycle of poverty.
