ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Amitabh D Sarwate is a writer and a poet. His debut book – a collection of short stories (fiction) called ‘Humorously Yours – Tales from the Gymkhana’ – was released in June 2020 and hit the ‘Top 50 Kindle Bestsellers’ in India in the first month of its publication. He is also the co-author of a management book- ‘Management Innovations’ – which profiles some of the greatest management tools and techniques that have influenced modern businesses. He writes a business and finance blog called ‘My 2 cents’ and has published numerous articles in newspapers.  His story ‘Arranged Marriage’ was a finalist in a humor story writing competition held by Penguin India.

He has been in finance leadership roles at various companies including Hewlett-Packard, Seagate, Cisco, and Twitter. He is also a founder of a technology startup company. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pune, and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University, USA where he received the prestigious Weatherhead Scholarship. He has also completed an advanced fiction writing workshop from Stanford University.
